What once started with one car, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a lot of perseverance has now grown into a household name in the region. 2006
The launch of Taxi Boute
In January 2006, Willem-Jan Boute and his father Jan Boute started Taxi Boute. They covered their first kilometers in an old Opel Omega and a Mercedes.
Anyone who called for a taxi often got his wife on the line, sometimes even from the supermarket while she was shopping. Together, they ensured that Taxi Boute was available day and night. Professionalism, customer friendliness, and excellent service have been the foundation of the company from the very beginning. At the time, Taxi Boute's slogan could always be heard on Omroep Amersfoort: " Want a taxi? Call Boute."
2007
The move into the business market
Taxi Boute quickly became popular in Amersfoort. In order to also serve business customers, a Chrysler C300 sedan was purchased in 2007, a striking and luxurious car that attracted a lot of attention.
Logement de Gaaper was the first business customer in 2007. Other hotels and companies in Amersfoort soon followed. The company grew rapidly andthe kitchen table was replaced by an office in the attic. Not long after, a real office was built behind the house and the first employees were hired.

Expansion and recognition in the region
After its initial growth spurt, the company and its fleet continue to grow steadily. Thanks to its remarkably neat and growing fleet and professional drivers, Taxi Boute is becoming increasingly well known, both among private individuals and business customers. Taxi Boute is becoming a trusted name in Amersfoort and the surrounding area.
2017
Significant growth through acquisition of fellow taxi company
In 2017, a large taxi company in Amersfoort went bankrupt. This led to a significant increase in the number of rides at Taxi Boute. The demand for rides rose enormously. In addition to private and business transport, there was a great need for healthcare transport and wheelchair transport.
The first wheelchair-accessible bus is purchased. Demand is so high that by 2024, fifteen wheelchair-accessible buses are in use.
2021
Expansion of the service area
During the coronavirus pandemic in 2021, Brink Vervoer Driebergen Zeist goes bankrupt. This company was previously known as Hoek Vervoer. The takeover enables Taxi Boute to serve a much larger area.
In October 2021, the opportunity arose to take over the family business Taxi Urban Motax in Doorn. This company was founded in the 1930s and was later continued by Rex Urban and his wife Anneke. Taxi Boute is proud to continue this regional family tradition.
2023
Acquisition of Bato Eemland
In January 2023, Bato Eemland Personenvervoer will close its doors. Although the company will be taken over by Noot, Taxi Boute will take over the telephone number and email address. This will result in many new customers and lead to a partnership with ZCN, the Dutch healthcare transport center.
2024
A modern and large transportation organization
Taxi Boute has since grown into one of the largest transport companies in the region. What started with two second-hand cars has grown into a fleet of fifty-eight vehicles. This includes fifteen Mercedes Sprinter wheelchair buses, ten Mercedes Vito minibuses, twenty-eight luxury Mercedes E-Class vehicles, and five electric Mercedes EQE models.
Taxi Boute is now the established and reliable partner for private transport, business transport, executive transport, airport transport, group transport, healthcare transport, and wheelchair transport.
